Matres Mundi offers the possibility of voluntary unpaid internships for students who cover different areas of international studies that are related to the usual activity of the association.
The internships are aimed at undergraduate and postgraduate students in the following fields or similar:
· Political and administration sciences
· International relations
· Development cooperation, especially health and gender
· Management of associations and NGOs
· Journalism and / or international communication
Matres Mundi offers trainees their immersion in the main professional routines of an NGO for development cooperation in the health field, and specifically in the field of maternal and child health, which focuses its main activity in countries of sub-Saharan Africa.
We understand the internship as an experience, limited in time, of mutual benefit for both parties, which serves people to start in the professional field developing problem solving skills, associative management, interpersonal relationships, as well as application of the techniques and knowledge acquired in their studies. For Matres Mundi, the practices mean the opportunity to make themselves known to future professionals, and to reinforce their daily work with the collaboration of people who can contribute new visions and solutions to the casuistry of the habitual activity.
